VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Volunteers in a clinical trial participate in the development of medical therapies that may offer better treatments and even cures for life-threatening and chronic diseases. As a volunteer you will receive free treatment, free medication and compensation.

Houston Research Institute is dedicated to conducting clinical trials in the areas of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, with a special focus on fatty liver disease. We pride ourselves on conducting high quality research as a complement to the medical care that our volunteers receive from their routine care center.

Cutting-edge research

Our research site and multilingual research staff are available to meet the demands of the many different therapeutic areas of clinical trials. Our facility includes a laboratory, dedicated patient exam rooms for research activities, secured limited access Storage Room for IP’s, onsite FibroScan and monitoring room. We maintain the necessary medical equipment to conduct and interpret diagnostic exams.
